Look i know Supreme has no problem killing, but he was never this into it,he did it when the bad guys were doing bad, hell he even used to get attacked by random heroes, and done everything short of killing them.i get that erik needed him to be very opposite to the moore Supreme, but i think its a lil too much, hopefully if we get another Supreme book he will tone down the enjoyment in killing others.

The fact that mean Supreme takes even more pains to be as brutal as possible is probably due to yet another Supremacy revision making Mean Supreme really REALLY extreme. As a kind of lens to see violent anti-heroes at their most absurd.

But isnt "mean" Supreme supposed to be unchanged and unaffected by the revisions?

The return of Mean Supreme is a revision. So anything is possible.

Another great issue by Erik. However I did not like the "unfinished" feel of the issue especially if the book is canceled. I am going to miss Erik writing Supreme.

This is what Erik had to say over on his forum about the end of his run.

And there is resolution to some degree--Supreme defeated the villain he was facing. If Supreme never comes home--well, that's the end of that--if he does--there are all kinds of directions it could go in.

Any news on the future of Supreme? Is the book going to return with a new creative team or is it canceled? Rumors are that sales were low & this was the last issue. I really hope that the rumor is untrue because I like this book...

    More than just rumors.

    Supreme #63 - 14,062
    Supreme #64 - 6,353
    Supreme #65 - 5,539

Sales after Supreme #65 didn't even register on the top 350+ comics, the bottom of which are selling under 2,000 a month. It would be suprising if they continued Supreme.

Since I'm sure Moore is not coming back, Morrison would be my choice. He'd definitely have some cool things to do with the whole Supremacy concept.
