Her history should be entirely rewritten so that she's always been Japanese. But Brian was still always white. Their mother's womb was an inter-dimensional juncture and Psylocke has always been an alternate reality version of herself.

But it would never work. It's sad in some ways but Psylocke without the race-switching and its colonialist subtext is a much less dynamic character. Less offensive, certainly, but then what would we have to talk about?
