"Men in Black 3" actor Josh Brolin has been cast in "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" as Dwight, a role previously portrayed by Clive Owen in 2005's "Sin City."

WOW!!! I was wondering if they would recast this role and was heavily disappointed with that idea due to my love for Owen as Dwight. But this somehow excites me.

Makes sense. They should fix the article title and content, as the reconstructive surgery doesn't happen AFTER A Dame To Kill For but a little after the middle of it. As far as comics go, Sin City continuity isn't THAT difficult, folks ... Originally Posted by Cyke

makes sense for them to change actor pre surgery, but Dwight is the only role I've seen Owen play that I've not hated............. well, accept his driver role in the BMW ads.

Considering the film had no problem getting Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon Levitt, I can't imagine they wouldn't be able to get Clive Owen (and he did a fine job in the first one). I'm hoping we'll see Clive pop up in the last act of the film. That would also make sense why they'd choose such a radically different looking actor to replace Clive.
