I had zero interest in ASM and only picked this book up because of all the complaints on the forum. After reading this I have to wonder how many complainers actually knew how this issue would turn out. My guess is not many. It's actually really interesting. Not interesting enough for me to keep buying, but I can't see how anyone who enjoyed Slotts work in ASM wouldn't enjoy this.

Eh, I read a buddy's copy. It didn't grab me enough to get me to dive back in to Spider-Man after jumping off with 700. I'm not upset like other people, I'm just not really interested in the concept. I AM interested in the fallout of the concept: Destination > Journey in this case (pour moi).

again, when a book gets an awful review in THE BUY PILE, the actual review gets 4 stars at least...
who ever writes the buy pile really needs to cheer up..

Slott actually did that already in the ASM #680's range.

I'm curious, I read about this on Wikipedia and well, I see this as interesting. Hopefully the real Peter won't die at least so he does return.

I just wonder what would happen though if Kaine ever encountered this version of Spidey.
