Yeah, that's definitely the case. And since then they've sort of relegated Graymalkin to a weird fling of Anole's (odd for a character that's supposed to be crazy old). Frankly, I'm not sure if it's better to try to salvage things from Young X-Men or editorially stay the course of ignoring it.

As Morrison wrote it, and all that matters, No Girl and Martha Johansson are the same person. "No Girl" is Martha's code name she and Ernst sort of made up as an inside joke to tease Beakie because everyone in the special class made fun of Beakie. Damn I love the Special Class.

That's cool. Alissa feels right in the series because its such a weird characterizing moment for Scott. Even though its kind of brushed over, he employed a 13 year to be his personal spy.

    No-Girl was always Martha.

This Cipher libel is ridiculous. As much as I potentialove her.

Dummy, well Dummy is made off gas, so could still be alive. But I think we must assume he died, sadly :-(

    Default Ernst is Cassandra Nova.

What always REALLY bothered me is the fact that nobody had ever interest in Ernst again. Morrison revealed that Ernst is actually Cassandra Nova trapped in this body and got a second chance by Professor X to live again a new life. That is such a beautiful and great idea.

Why did nobody be interested in this amazing concept? Now we have Kid Apocalypse running at the school and as well Cassandra Nova in the body of Ernst.

I think it is time for Ernst to shine again.....

Whedon wanted to use Nova as a villain. The X-Men have a million reformed villains anyway.

Whedon messed up. It was explicitly confirmed in Here Comes Tomorrow, but he chose to ignore it. Now Cassandra Nova lives inside Armour.

The weirder thing is that they kept Ernst around.

With a mess like that you'd think editorial would have just made Ernst die or disappear. There were so many opportunities.

But instead they continue to keep her around as wallpaper, unused, unexplored, with no one really having any idea who or what she is.

Either kill her or do something.
