    DC COmics has provided CBR with an exclusive first look at series' artist Doug Mahnke's cover for his and Geoff Johns' "Green Lantern" #17, the first chapter in the upcoming "Wrath of the First Lantern" storyline.

    the cover before this had only Baz.

    Nah. I've definitely seen this artwork before with all of the Lanterns. I remember it because I remember Guy and Kilowog.

    Yes, the artwork was already showed, but this time the colors are PRETTIER.

    i wish geoff johns was writing a story i wanted to read because doug mahnke is great.

    lol, agreed. Or better yet, pair Mahnke up with a better writer on a better book. He always worked well with Joe Kelly...

    I'm more of the other way around... I wish Geoff Johns would be paired up with a better artist. Mahnke's people scare me... those faces... those eyes...

    One thing that bugs me is the placement of the characters. On Baz's side are Guy, John, Kilowog and Arkillo. On the left side, the Kyle, plus Carol, Atrocitus, Larfleeze and Indigo-1. It was always said that Rage and Love were the hardest emotions to control. Avarice and Compassion have been shown to take a hold of it's host and pretty much control them. Is this some foreshadowing to Kyle having control of all emotions and perhaps... losing control?
