My only question about firing him is what is a firing offense? I mean a lot of stuff has been allowed to slide over the decades what could he do especially with Peter holding the reigns on killing.

About time they fired the lazy bum. All he did was hang out in the back, stuffing his face with food and making annoying jokes.

Bendis is not the first writer to make spiderman an Avenger. No character has spent as much time working with other heros than Spiderman none.

The only thing I can think of is that they found the gold octobot, along with Otto's attitude ruffling the feathers of their friends. However they may have no choice but keep him on, especially since Spidey these days is very tight with Jonah.
