Might check this out, he did a great Valen the Outcast mini. Might even stay if the series could get Matteo Scalera (who did the art for Valen) as its regular artist.

That would be a huge step up from Churchill. Guara is pretty okay, but I prefer Scaleras kinetic stylization.
As an aside, what is it with DC recruiting horror writers for everything? Can I get some hard sci fi 2000 AD style guys, please? The horror vibe is cool, but I don't want EVERY book to riff on it.
