Has anyone read this yet? I would appreciate some honest feedback on it before I spend the money.

I'm waiting for the paperback, myself, so I can't tell you anything first-hand, but I can say this much: I had been waffling on it as I didn't particularly like the title or what I gathered of the premise, but this headline (not the review itself - I stopped reading as soon as I realised I now intended to read the book) at boingboing changed my mind.
Was going to start a thread about this.
I'm waiting for it to come in Amazon, so I'd love to hear what others think meanwhile.
Read it in two days and really enjoyed it. It does read like Warren Ellis, meaning if you have read a lot of comics of his, you could pick up on his style and way with words in the book. It's violent. 300 pages, so not a chore to get through. I really liked the main character too. Don't really want to spoil anything.
Today, I make no demands... no threats! But, one day, I shall voice demands -- and all shall obey them!
