I also finally got Jimmy Olsen #134. Had to pay way more than I wanted, but whatever. It's done now. Naturally, as soon as I bought it, several others sold on ebay for significantly less, and this after I had been bidding on and losing copies for weeks. Bah. Whatevs.

Made my way out to Motor City Comic Con last weekend and dropped $200 on 40 Barks WDC&S books, a massive stack of Savage Sword of Conan's that nearly completed my run of 1-75, three issues of Haunt of Horror (read #2 and immediately needed to own the complete 5 issue run), and a few run fillers for my Adventures into Fear/Man-Thing collection.

Less than 5 bucks a pop on the Duck books? That's pretty damn good. I shoulda made it back to Michigan. Everyone I know from Facebook was there.

Then you probably heard the show was plagued with problems this year.

But yeah, I find with the WDC&Ss that if you wait long enough, you can often get low grade copies for next to nothing. There just isn't a demand for them.
