Last night I ordered the entire 1994 Starman run along with the associated extra issues needed for story completeness. I've heard nothing but great things.
hi bobbyhamilton - sounds good. hope it brings you a lot of happiness!
"Heads up-- If Havok's position in UA #5 really upset you, it's time to drown yourself hobo piss. Seriously, do it. It's the only solution." - Rick Remender
Sucks 200 character limit.

"That is a great run of books actually. The 1st few arcs are some of the best done work then."
"I've read the first two omnibuses so far and it is great!"
Thank you so much for the kind words! I have been slowly collecting full runs of older comics for years and years; I'm waiting for that proverbial rainy day I suppose. So far I have read and loved Ostrander's Spectre and Carey's Lucifer.
I have yet to finish reading:
Suicide Squad
ROM
Shade the Changing Man
Promethea
Starman
Sandman
I have a grading question for you and others on this board. I've been trying to use Overstreet, but it doesn't really cover every contigency. For ex., your Batman here looks pretty darn nice: crisp, not much wear, we'll assume the staples are tight and pages OK inside. But the triangles out of the cover allowed in grade 4.0 (VG) is only up to 1/4", and in grade 2.0 (G) up 1/2." So if your triangle is a 1/2", is it automatically 2.0? That's a shame, because G is not good, really, for collecting. G books are pretty trashed, and yours looks really nice. Now, what if that triangle is over 1/2"? Are you kidding me--does that really make it 1.5 (Fair-G)?
Wow I am envious! The full run of Challengers...and most everything else DC! You must live in a really big warehouse where the walls smell like old newsprint! Add a turntable and my dusty record collection and that might be my idea of heaven. I wanted also to say thank you for your Website. It's a great resource, and it's also really fun to use your time machine!
That specific Challengers cover really makes the connection to the Fantastic Four very, very explicit.

Not a purchase, but MRP sent along a 9-issue run of Machine Man as part of a trade.
(Sorry about the lack of carpet in this one.)
For a long time when I was young, Machine Man #10 was the oldest comic I owned (1979), which was eventually usurped by '66's Tales to Astonish #76. As time went on, I mostly moved to trades, so the "oldest issue" thing didn't matter so much.
Anyway, I always maintained quite a bit of affection for Machine Man, picking up random issues of West Coast Avengers, reading Earth X, and obsessing over Nextwave mostly because of the push-button man. I'm excited to go through his original series again (some of it for the first time).
All-Star Western, Casanova, Criminal, Daredevil, Dark Horse Presents, Funnies, Hellboy/BPRD, King City, Orc Stain, Snarked, Unwritten, Usagi Yojimbo
Glad you got those books Aaron, it's some Ditko goodness there.
Speaking of trades, my local shop had a few books I had been eyeing so worked out a trade this afternoon to pick up the following:
Justice League of America #29 (not my copy pictured, my copy was about a G/VG)
Hawkman #15 (again not my copy, mine was a solid VG)
the 2001: A Space Odyssey Treasury Edition (again not my copy, mine is solid VF)
I also picked up a trade collection of the Avengers Korvac Saga.
