That was really recent though, and with how long these things are usually in development for I wouldn't be surprised if Morrison's Brainiac arc wasn't finished by the time production started on this.

I get the feeling they'll get there eventually.

At least these TV Guide stills look better than the stills for Elite, but like Han Solo, I have a bad feeling about this.
Dude, I totally agree with you here. Although I liked the adaptation itself, I kinda hated the animation. The stills shown for Unbound don't make me uneasy, but I wish they would work harder on the art style for these DTVs.

Art looks much better here, I'll say that much.
Well, yeah, the art style and animation were crappy. Did you dislike the story as well?

That would be JOHN FREAKIN' NOBLE, a.k.a. Walter Bishop . So far this is the greatest thing to come out from that announcement.

No, that's not gonna happen. I know that cartoony art styles are easier (and cheaper) to animate, but damn. Would it be much to ask that they used a more realistic approach to the drawings from time to time?

Agreed. My guess is that they'll get there eventually.

Watched a cool behind the scenes preview of this movie and am looking forward to it but hope the animation is of better quality than what was done in the last Superman movie (Elite). I really enjoy the DC Animated movies but a few times the animation is awful. They really need to lift their quality.

    Yesssss. Another Superman release.

However reading that it might be scrapped killed my buzz. The art doesnt necessarily look like Reeve, which doesnt matter to me as long as the art is good and its Superman.

Go here before this gets taken down!

This looks cool. Matt Bomer was almost a live action Superman at one point and I THINK even played Supes in some foreign TV ads.

I liked the Elite DVD, but I disliked the art direction. This looks better.

and John Noble as BRAINIAC? Winning.

Brianiacs and Lois Lanes voice actors are grade A. Superman's voice could use a little bass but not bad.

Half the cast for Castle has worked on a DC animated project.
McKenstry those with the most opinions often have the fewest facts.

Christopher Yost Cyclops = Awesome and Right, while Xavier = USELESS JERK-O! Viva la Cyclops!

Facts are the enemy of truth.

You gonna get us out of here. With that tight-ass Wolverine outfit on. Now, let's make it happen, asshole

Really excited for this. Not happy they choose not to go with Frank's drawing style but still am very excited for the story part.

Really looking forward to this movie!

The film's second story thread Superman struggles to relate to the women in his life. As his romance with Lois heats up (in his secret identity as Clark Kent), he worries that she could be in jeopardy if his enemies discover their connection. (TV Guide)

Although I'm a little sad they've decided to switch a married Lois and Clark from the original comic book arc to a dating Lois and Clark in the movie, it still sounds like it'll be interesting.

Really looking forward to seeing this. It was a great story and I wonder if it feature the infamous X-ray vison scene between Kara and Cat Grant and Supergirl saving the solar system from Brainiac's sunkiller missile? The animation looks great too.

You're going to have to wait until "The Dark Knight Returns" volume two is out on DVD and Blu-Ray, for the official preview to be put online. That's what Warner Premiere does every time.
