Those metal knobs are weird, and yeah, I don't like em too...Some people annoyingly end up drawing her without her metal belt due to them, and I like that belt design. =(

And the problem with Brooks is that I don't think he can keep the monthly art level going every month at THAT QUALITY, so you'll end up with uneven art styles, with guest artists coming in. =( Yes, the slightly cartoonish drawing might be a turn off for some, but it looks like it's easier to keep up for the long haul, which means the book will be able to come out regularly with the same artist.

That was quite an informative and interesting interview.

I really love wot he said about building the team gradually and allowing each character to be fully developed (to an extent) and familiar (to the reader) before the final nine are assembled. And the possibility of power "upgrades" further on.

I like Valkryie's current outfit. I liked the boots from The Fearless series, but the full outfit rocks! I have no desire to see her go back to her old Defenders outfit. I personally like the armoured boobs...It gives a cool Asgardian/warrior feel to it. I don't mind the metal knobs on her abs...I think it gives her out fit a cool look and compliments the armoured boobs.

Can't wait for this series!

One question I haven't seen answered yet: does Dani have her mutant powers again? Will she get them back?

No. And not likely...at least not her mutant mirage powers. Although the Valkyrie slight "upgrades" Bunn mentions in the article might tweak her just a bit given that she is/was part Valkyrie. Truth to tell, I cannot wait to see how she will be affected.

Some good stuff in that interview, definitely gives more perspective for where the series is heading.

Should be interesting to see how each Defender handles becoming a celebrity(Will the media portray them stereotypically/insultingly because they are all women?) and what kind of power upgrades they eventually get.

I don't like it. Why can't an Asgardian warrior woman feel pretty and wear some heels? Does she really need to worry about orthopedics?
