I see they changed the cover to reflect the new GL, cool.

Anyway, I wish Giffen was also writing this series, it says something about the quality of a book when its annual is used just to promote a new series instead of continuing its own story.
Comic Books are fun, Comic Book fans not so much.

they changed Jediah Caul's hair color, i guess he looked too much like Kyle Rayner with the black hair.

Hey, you try keeping your hair combed when it's constantly getting messed up by the wind . . . of space . . .

I mean, what is he supposed to do, just make a comb out of thin air? Like he can just make whatever he imagines out of nothing?

    Don't be absurd.

"Jedia Caul" - to be the lead in Giffen's new "Threshold" series.

Loving the preview. Some personality, some traditional written-by-Giffen "grimaces" on characters' faces, and Kyle's mask looking massive on his tiny head. :D

That's Jediah Caul, the main character of Keith Giffen's new series Threshold that is out next week (Everyone who enjoys cosmic stories should pick it).

Don't really care for the art, but Giffen and a prologue to Threshold, so... yay.

I'm trying to remember that I really, really, like Kyle and that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but its difficult because the art is horrible. Kyle looks like a 10-year old in an off-the-rack Green Lantern Halloween costume.
To Sleep, perchance To Dream. The computer in Logan's Run was correct. Life after 30 isn't worth the trouble. Old age is a literal pain.

I'll skim in the shop to see if it actually related to the GL story. If not, nada Annual for me.

The art is okay in the Saint Walker and Arkillo segment, but it gets awful at the Zamaron segment. It seems like getting two artists for this issue really worked against it.

If the guy on the cover is Jediah, then who is the guy we see in the covers for Threshold? Is that just due to the poor art that led to Jaime looking the way they did?

Using a $4.99 Annual for a different series to lead into a $3.99 book sounds like a bad idea for anyone who just wants to try something new with Threshold. Almost Marvel-esque in pricing techniques.
Anyone who thinks DC is bringing back the Silver Age doesn't know what the Silver Age is.

There is no such word as "persay," it's per se, two words, from the Latin.
