I think so. I mainly think this is X-23 because she was a clone from Wolverine's X chromosome to make her a woman, because the Y was damaged. So she has always been the "XX" version of Wolverine. Also, all the dna spinning in the background is suggestive of it being about a clone as well, as they use DNA strands to clone.

And I'd read it, too. I like Brian Wood.

Why throw great talent after bad concepts? Seems like a waste of time, especially since Marvel has proven itself to be especially poor at promoting distaff versions of popular male heroes, something which DC is great at.

The only thing that will keep an all female title going is coipel. How boring. Such a waste of the perfect team...I'd like to see a brotherhood/xmen title not a sisterhood/xwomen. I guess this is for all the ppl who are constantly crying about marvel treating gals like shi* in there comics...
I hope this has nothing to do with a female only cast.

The Illuminati is an all male team, I don't see why people are crying over this book. It's going to be great. The X-Women have better powers by a mile and can deal with bigger threats.

Have you read Wood's X-men and Wood's Ultimate X-menl;;; Strong female characters and critically succesfull titles!!! I totally disagree with you!! I don't reject that Coipel is the Big Name but Wood is also an excellent writer!!!!
