Season 2 was just added to Netflix. I need to take time to watch both seasons in the proper order. I generally caught an episode here and there. What I saw, I really liked and I thought the show did a great job straddling the line between the movies and the comics. With enough connection to each to be a bridge between the two.

More like Jeph Loeb didn't like the show, because he felt it was too much for kids with short attention spans. The fact that it has the movie lineup is just part of the re-branding.

most of my friends wouldn't pick up a comic if you paid them, but they love the Marvel movies
Evidence shows this to be the case, even before the newsstand market took a nosedive.
