Superman + Wonder Woman romance

I don't think they're so much forcing Orion and Wonder Woman on anyone rather just adding some conflict to the mix. I still don't forsee them ending the Superman and Wonder Woman relationship anytime soon though. Knowing the douchey way Azzarello is writing Orion (seems like no one can get the loveable rogue character right these days; they never turn out like Han Solo, rather just a douchebag bad boy), I'm guessing in #19 he's just going to steal a kiss or something.

In any case I see it developing as a classic case of mutual jealousy. Diana will probably be jealous of Lois to some degree, and Superman will be jealous of Orion.

I for one love the WW and SM pairing!! But right now i'm feeling really let down, it seem the relationship is going to be short lived!! Looking at these upcoming Superman# 19 ,it look like Wonder Woman will betray Superman for Orion! Also looking at future covers, Justice League # 20, something that going to be revealed about Batman could destroy their relationship, and the cover for Wonder Woman # 22 , WW is going with Orion to visit his homeworld. Reading an interview from the writer of WW comic, something going happen between WW and Orion that superman wouldn't approve of!! It look like the WW and SM relationship is going to be short lived, it seem their pushing the WW and Orion pairing!! I feel like I have been mislead by DC comics and their writers, I thought they really were going to explore WW and SM being a couple!! It seem now it was done to get some attention and to sale extra comics for a few months. Right now i'm really disappointed in the way DC comics has handled WW and SM relationship!! I feel like I've been sucker punched!!

I don't like Orion much but I thinking now it's alright there is someone along with Steve there to fancy Diana. If Superman is mooning for Lois while he is supposed to be dating Diana ( annoying)... it's good to see there are men who actually might want Diana too and cause Supes some uneasiness. Diana has not shown any romantic interest in Orion though and she has not shown to be pining over Steve either so I wouldn't really worry yet. I doubt very much WW sales are that good if (big if) Orion should become her new squeeze it would matter much in the long run. He'll not last long.

Not a joke, an observation. Kirk and Picard make big speeches about justice and equality all through their respective tv series, but when Wonder Woman does it it's preachy? Hmmmmmm.

But... nobody was even talking about Star Trek or comparing Wonder Woman to other perceived preachy characters. Why even bring that up in a month-old thread? Unless there's some conversation you had with the poster in question I'm not aware of...? Some older post amidst the smoking wreckage of flamewars in this thread?

I just saw the full cover for WW # 19, one scene has Wonder Woman punching Orion!! The second scene has Wonder Woman kissing Orion!! If it true that WW and Orion are now a couple, i'm pretty disappointed! Steaming mad!! This means that DC never really had plan for the WW and SM pairing!! They played a cruel trick on the fans that were looking forward to see that pairing!! Everythings DC announced last August was lie!! I'm extremely disappointed!!

Haha. Orion and WW a power couple? Until dude can sell a book by himself and drive sales...he is not even a fraction of what entails a power couple. He needs the WW title more than she needs him.
