Look, Starman, I'm not criticizing the entire New 52 with that statement. But there have been a lot of titles where DC really screwed things up, like not being able to keep a steady team on the Superman book for more than six months, as well as other main character titles that seem to be more of "lets throw mud against the wall and see if anything sticks" than being logically planned out. (Green Arrow and Hawkman are two more, and the debacle about whether there were earlier groups called Teen Titans, only to not decide after second issues had been published that, whoops, maybe there weren't! )

Congress shall make no law . . . abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

New 52 is kind of the Ultimate Universe. 90% or more characters are all different and younger.

I'd love to see it get some more exposure in maybe a couple other titles, but I'd keep it small. I like the pace at which the world is being built in Earth 2 just fine.

Earth 2 isn't like the Ultimate Universe though. The no copy rule of characters is one reason. That's why Earth 2 Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman died. The other major reason is because Earth 2 is connected to the new 52 main DCU in a big way. Michael Holt Mr. Terrific jumped ship from main DCU to Earth 2, and Powergirl & the Huntress jumped ship visa versa. Earth 2 is too connected to the new 52 main universe, and follows the same rules of the main universe to be like the Ultimate Universe. The Ultimate Universe had one time where it met the 616 Marvel Universe, and it took ten years for that to happen (Happened in Spider-Men). The Ultimate Universe follows its own rules to. Marvel writers say that they can do things in the Ultimate Universe that they could never do in the 616 Marvel Universe.

The closest thing that the new 52 DC Comics has to the Ultimate Universe is the Earth One OGN's. There seperate, and they follow their own rules. It's different.

Marvel has several mutliverse Earths. Ultimate Earth is differnt, and off on its own...while the other multiverse Earths play around with the 616 Marvel Universe Earth. So if DC Comics wants its own Ultimate Universe, they would have to use a different Earth. I suggest turning Earth 3 into a DC Comics version of The Ultimate Universe.

They have said that Earth 2 has it's own separate rules on how the universe works, rules Mr. Terrific will have to learn since science apparently works differently on Earth 2.

I wouldn't mine seeing it as it's own separate line, but not for another year or so until the world is more defined.

And, some of us thoroughly enjoy the current writer on Worlds' Finest. Don't you dare put somebody like Lobdell, Daniel, Krul, or Nocenti on it!
I've hated Worlds' Finest very much, but not enough to wish NOCENTI on it. Her writing use-by date must have been shortly after her Daredevil, because everything since has been eye-gougingly terrible.
Looking for artists, know I won't find any. That blows.
