First pic this year. Just a random outlaw with a missing tooth. Maybe he just burned down some poor dude's farm because he didn't like his face.
Too lazy to ink so I went straight from sketch to colors. Hope you dig it anyway.

I really like it!
His face [the eyes especially], the flames.. nice work!
Just wondering.. do you think even one-offs like this dude should always have some.. personal feature, to distinguish them and give them identity, or only in case you are planning to use the character again? Talking about things like scars, missing teeth =D and stuff like that? Asking, because I personally get bored pretty easily of art with no identity of its own, even if it is technically great.
aye
I agree and I bet it IS fun for an artist to give identity to a character, even if it is only a doodle.
btw, subscribed to your stuff, I like it =)
Thanks a lot! I really appreciate it.
My friend Glen Brunswick asked me to draw a pinup for his awesome series NON HUMANS published by Image Comics and illustrated by none other than comic legend Whilce Portacio. It's a dark sci fi tale about toys that come to life and if you like Blade Runner (who doesn't?) you should definitely check it out. Click.

the badass teddy is awesome! overall, I really like how you use form and color.
so.. what is this light that reflects in everyone's eyes? or is it IN their eyes?
my two cents: I think that the toy with the missing arm, open head and one eye [and banded mouth, don't forget the mouth] could have been even more creepy [like it needs to.. haha], if its missing eye was just a black hole, without the dot of light inside.
and the duck =]
@brokentool
Thanks, man! The light is coming from them. Just a visual hint to show they're alive.
As for the doll's eye: I had a version with only the black hole but somehow it just didn't work for me.
P.S. Never trust the duck.![]()
Thanks a lot!
A friend requested Gandalf and he got... more of a Christopher Lee. Bare with me. It's the first time I'm drawing the guy.
Digital pencil on digital blue paper with digital white crayon.

Cool thing to share mate
In brightest day, in blackest night,
No evil shall escape my sight
Let those who worship evil's might,
Beware my power... Green Lantern's light
I don't know.. don't see too much resemblance, at least not in a bad way
and I think the eyes especially are quite good. and the way his robes fall down
the hat looks a bit small to me, but I think it's just personal, uh, taste? =]
Thanks, guys! I don't draw a lot of fantasy so I'm glad I didn't mess it up completely. Heh.
Hey Man!
That's me on the picture.
And don't call me Outlaw, I'm an Enforcer Of The Crime.
The last guy that crossed me, is the same one who's sheep you see on fire (well, actually you can't see them, but there is a burning smell of wool lingering in the air)
Believe You Me.
Why his sheep's? Because they are his only beloved one's. The sick perv. I imagine he prefers one of them more than the rest of his herd, but to me they all look the same.
So, I just burned them all.
Yeah, that's the way I roll.
As for my tooth.
I pull it out myself, with my two fingers, and used it as a weapon on a poor shmuck in a bar fight.
Yeah, I'm without a teeth, but he lost his eye.
You know what the Bible says: Eye For A Tooth!
Seriously Vik, great stuff, as always.
I like the straight to color approach. Everything seems to flow and blend in so naturally.
Can't wait to see your stuff in a comic book format.
Cheers.
