Still skipping it. No art or dialogue will change my view that it is a dumb idea that could have easily been accomplished without removing Peter from the equation. Hopefully I can still read 'Scarlet Spider' before Norman Osborn assumes his identity.

Good question. Traditionally, the Shocker actually used vibration powers. A vibration blast, or vibrating punches, or vibrations to roll better with a punch or to wiggle out of a hold. Maybe he has electric powers now, or maybe the artist made a serious mistake.

Put down the drugs man! Stegman is the best Marvel artist right now......no if's,and's or but's about it! His artwork is fluid and dynamic at the same time and he draws one heck of a spider-man. So far him and Bagley are the best Spidey artists in my opinion.

Hah! Somehow that wouldn't be surprising...

I like that this is almost half a shocker appreciation thread. I always liked him, too, and I can't quite explain why.

I think he was only taken off Scarlet to be put on Fantastic Four. The main Spidey book is a pretty big gig, so they're unlikely to shove him somewhere else quite as quickly.

Probably because it was a tribute to a more classic Spidey issue and era.
The interesting thing about that robot is that it was programmed to know that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. That's what that first story's main thrust was. And here we have the exact same thing again, with the robot meeting Spider-Man and he is going to say, "that's not Spider-Man". I wonder if Slott goes that way?

    It's liable to say

"Not Spider-Man. Spider-Man dead. This Spider-Man is an impostor".

Visited NY and DC and saw Spider-Man Turn off the Dark.

Nice preview. Stegman is great here.
Support titles that need supporting. Quit buying, reading and complaining about comics you don't enjoy.

In your opinion. Best since when, last month?

Boomerang was a key member of the recent pro-Marvel NOW Thunderbolts, I'd say that raised his stock up to Shocker level at least.

I dunno, "I will crush him!" has been one of the funnier things I've seen Spider-Man say in a while.
