Hawkeye doesn't have any super powers, so no.

I just got around to reading Fantastic Four #3 and have come to a decision.

This is terrible writing. This reads like Fraction is not at all having fun and downright trolling the readers. I don't think he got the Marvel NOW assignment he wanted.

The voices for the characters are all wrong. The dialogue is atrocious. Why are Reed and Thing using British slang? Why does Reed still sound like he is from 1960s at the SAME TIME? Why do Invisible Woman and especially Johnny Storm have non-existent personalities?

I am just waiting for one of the kids to utter "gee willikers!". Fraction, you have ruined the Fantastic Four, good job.

On the flip-side, Indestructible Hulk and Captain America third issues come out today. I am leaning towards keeping those as they hold promise for the future.

So far for me that means:

    Keep:
    All-New X-Men
    Thor, God of Thunder

    Dropped:
    Iron Man
    Fantastic Four

Most of the time I wouldn't drop Fantastic Four because it was the only kinda space-book Marvel puts out, but with Guardians of the Galaxy and Nova, I have no more excuses not to drop this turd.

I was not happy with Superior Spider-Man #1. I felt the return of Peter Parker was a slap in the face, but I will give it until issue 3 to win me over.

    Avengers - New Avengers
    Uncanny X-Men - All-New X-Men

    So far...

All New X-Men- I like Bendis, but I went into this book with a lot of reservations. I'm not a huge X-men fan, but I figured I'd give it a shot. I love so far. I don't get hung up on all the time travel paradoxes, etc. I know the kids will eventually get sent back and a huge mind wipe will occur, but as long as the story in between is good, then that's all that matters to me.

Uncanny Avengers- off to a slow start, but I'm sure it will pick up soon. I like what I've read from Remender as far as his upcoming plans. The delay with #3 doesn't bother me that much because I just finally got to read #2 last week! Acuna is hit or miss for me, so I'm not sure about the switch from JC. I was never a big fan, but I started liking his work more when he was doing Avengers last year.

Captain America- so different than Bru, but that's to be expected. Remender said from day 1 that he would be going a different direction. I read #1 the day it came out and thought it was OK. I finally had a chance to read #2 last night, but I re-read #1 first and I liked it much more the 2nd time and thought #2 was even better. I love JRJr, so I'm all in on this. Can't wait to see where RR takes it.

Avengers- brilliant. I know its been a lot of set up so far, but I trust Hickman and I know this will be EPIC.

New Avengers- when it was first announced, I wasn't interested. Then after reading more and more interviews with Hickman about his plans for the book, I knew I had to get it. #1 was good but I know it was set up and this series will get better and better.

Cable & X-Force- only had a chance to read the 1st issue so far. Pretty good. I like the choice of Larocca for this. He moves from drawing IM tech to Cable with cyborg arms and big guns. Looks awesome. Hopefully get a chance to read the other 2 tonight.

Iron Man- this is the one book that I'm disappointed with. Only have read the 1st 2 issues, but didn't really like either. Land's art is fine, but I'm not into the story at all. Going to read the next 3 then decide if I will keep it.

Superior Spider-man- Wasn't completely sold after #700m, but #1 was great and I'm interested to see where it goes.

Hawkeye- I know its not a NOW book, but as of right now its the best book Marvel is putting out.

Wolverine & X-men- again, not a NOW book, but still loving it.

I'll be giving Guardians of the Galaxy, Uncanny X-men and Nova a shot when they come out.

I'm loving every inch of FF, Daredevil, Hawkeye, and Journey into Mystery.

I'm also pretty crazy over Remender's punk rock Captain America. Just got the first three issues and it's so up my alley it ain't even funny. Love when Cap fights those sand creatures and relates it to Hemingway taking on a rhino. Perfect book, perfect. I can see why fans of Cap wouldn't be so keen on this but man oh man is it a treat.

It will be interesting to compare in a few more months how many and what sort of titles I'm still reading from Marvel NOW compared to previous Marvel and what I was reading half a year into the new 52. I'm trying to read at least every first issue of Marvel NOW titles. Any how, my current impressions of Marvel NOW. Overall it is a success in the sense that I've only dropped a few so far.

My fav Marvel title prior to Marvel NOW was Uncanny X-Force, so I've been most hyped over Uncanny Avengers and the new Uncanny X-Force.

    THE BEST:
X-Factor: I see the current issue is stamped with Marvel NOW, but no actual change to the title's contents. It was great before and still is great. Horrible starting point for X-Factor though, should a new reader decided to jump onboard with this issue.

Thor: I was leaning on the dislike side of things with #1, but from #2 on I started loving this book.

    PROMISING:
All New X-Men: 6 issues in and I still feel like hardly anything has happened. Probably will read better as trade. But I'm enjoying it so far, so I won't call it bad.

Avengers, New Avengers: As a fan of Hickman's Fantastic Four/FF, I have hopes this will soon move to "THE BEST" in the coming months.

Cable and X-Force: Reminds me of the 90's. Could be a good thing.

    Indestructible Hulk: Premise seems interesting.

Superior Spider-Man: Peter Parker will be back in no time ;) But the new Spider-Man is fun enough for a while.

Thunderbolts: I like the roster. Plots are decent enough so far, but hope it gets better.

Uncanny Avengers: So far so good, and the hints of future story lines (and past love for UXF) makes me hope I'll move this to THE BEST category in the coming months.

    ON THE FENCE:
Avengers Assemble: Light, fun stuff. I might not need this book once Hickman's picks up.

Captain America: Huge fan of Remender's UXF, but on Cap... I just don't know yet.

Fantastic Four, FF: Reading it because I loved the previous iteration, but I'm not liking it too much yet. Itching to drop, but like it enough to not do so. We'll see.

Iron Man: Similar to my feelings about Fantastic Four and FF. I wouldn't pin it on the art like others have been doing though. I'd still not LOVE it with the best artists out there.

Wolverine and the X-Men: Another title that hasn't really changed with the Marvel NOW banner. The series to me went down hill with AvX. Slowly picking up again, as I itch to drop. I used to love this title so hopefully it doesn't come down to that.

THE BAD: Titles I dropped after issue #1
    Avengers Arena
    Deadpool
X-Men Legacy: I totally don't understand the love some people have for this title. Perhaps when I have some extra spare time I'll give #2 a chance.
Journey into Mystery: I didn't like the previous iteration, so no surprise this one doesn't sit well with me either. But I see lots of love for this title so I'll try to give #2 a chance to hook me in.

I am really not a Bendis fan, but i picked up All New X-Men because Jean, and surprised myself by mostly enjoying it. I guess even a broken clock is right twice a day (and it's not to say that Bendis hasn't also done things I love, but on a whole his approach to things like, say, existing canon and characterisation is usually pretty much rubbish. Also he's going to ruin GotG who are my favourite team BUT ANYWAY).

I am finding X-Men Legacy utterly charming. I was recommended this one to pick up because I had basically run out of things to read with the NOW! not-a-reboot-reboot, and since it was only a few issues I thought why not.

Not buying another issue of Thunderbolts. I tried the first two, it was terrible and Steve Dillon's art is just... augh.

I'm only reading (New) New Avengers because of Doctor Strange and Namor, and part of me really resents having to read a book with Tony Stark and Reed Richards in it. I am still not sure how I feel about it, but will give it a few issues before I decide.

I'm really looking forward to X-Men and Fearless Defenders.
