I cut off a tip of my finger when I was welding.

I went to the hospital and the nurse was stabbing me
over and over trying to find a vein. Eventually I took
the IV from her with the hand that had lost the finger tip.
they had shot a local into it but I could still feel my other fingers
nad thumb. I took the IV because it was annoying to have it
repeatedly stabbed into my arm with no lucky strike.
I took it and slowly jammed
it into my vein, my eyes locked on the nurses eyes the entire time.

She thanked me. I nodded and I went back to being a patient.
I have my finger tip but the nerve no works.
