Have it written by bendis and it's guarantee to sell that's for sure.
I would love that. I remember a friend told me that he heard Marvel was going to rename Ultimate Spider-Man Ultimate Spider-Woman after Ultimatum and if that was true I wonder what happened. I think having Ultimate Spider-Man contain Miles, Jessica, and Johnny would be cool and kind of like post Ultimatum Spider-Man where Bobby, Johnny, Kitty, and Gwen all lived with Peter.

I feel that she is criminally under used and under developed. The whole idea that she is Peter Parker's clone and that he is dead is insanely interesting, she has all of his memories, thoughts, and feelings. I feel that she could be a very strong character that could hold her own book. There are dozens if not hundreds of good stories you could tell with Jessica Drew (Hell I came up with quite a few), like exploring the possibility of her developing a relationship with Peter Parker's supporting cast (Thus giving Miles's supporting cast a chance to grow in his own title), finding her own identity, dealing with not having a childhood or any sort of life of her own before, maybe the question of her sexuality (but that's neither here nor there), and dealing with several villains that have yet to enter in the Ultimate Universe such as Allister Smithe, Purple Man, Mr.Fear, etc.
And I would think it would be beneficial to have an ongoing Ultimate book starring a woman, epically one with so much connection to Peter Parker.
As for writer's I'd like to see write this well: Gail Simon would be good but she's kinda hit or miss with me, Brian Bendis is the same and well I think he's a bit over used as a writer, Matt Fraction would be my number one pick he is doing fantastic on Fantastic Four (no pun intended). Mark Millar or Grant Morrison (maybe those two would be a bit much). Though I know that this will never happen but a guy can dream: Geoff Johns and Jim Lee working on Ultimate Spider-Woman (maybe one day I'll get my wish :))

At the same time I can see the problem. It's then just a Peter Parker story with a vagina. I think she needs a mini to kinda give us a feel of the character to really show that isn't the theme of the story.

I don't see it as just a female version of Peter Parker, I want to just see her explored more and her stories from her point of view, while me suggesting that Marvel puts Peter's supporting cast in her book would be good for the fans of Peter, it would also be good for character building as a clone trying to develop her own relationships instead up starting up relationships that were already there. I see it more so like Kain in his own series, he's not Peter Parker but is still a big part of him. I would say that the theme of the story most of us would like to see is Jessica trying to create a life of her own and not live as Peter Parker.

I know most of us want a real comic book but here's a really good piece of fan fiction that I found featuring Spider-Woman:
