Congress shall make no law . . . abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
This is my favourite Superhero Nightwing pairing.
Yeah since Dick isn't Bruce's son, it is not that bad. Although it is pretty weird when it is your mentor's parallel version's daughter. Then again it could be worse, a lot worse. I don't mind it per se since they aren't really related anyway.
No it's not, because the daughter and son would have grown up together and therefore thought of each other as siblings all along. Helena and Dick haven't grown up together so they won't have thought of each other that way.
I'm adopted, and I also know my birth mother. I have sisters in my adopted family and I have half-sisters from my birth mother. I wouldn't think of my adoptive sisters that way because we grew up as brother and sister. I don't think of my biological half-sisters that way because I know we have blood. Although since I've only known my half-sisters for about 6 years, it's a little easier for me to acknowledge that they are "hot".
But Dick and Helena don't have either situation - they are two strangers who aren't related. And again, this is not taking into account the fact that they were each raised by separate "Bruce" who may have had some differences, further separating them.
It doesn't matter what the writer, artist, or editor had in mind when they created it, or what they said in an interview;
all that matters is what is on the page.
But Helena Wayne is clearly in love with Power Girl! Or at least their relationship is what people like most about Worlds' Finest
