    Default Nightwing & Huntress Should They Get Back Together ?

    In a recent issue of Birds of Prey. Huntress says she is in love with Nightwing. Should something happen between them??

    ... how recent are we talking here?

    I wouldn't mind it, as I didn't mind them together in the past continuity, but it isn't going to happen. Thought it would be an interesting way to introduce the character back into the Bat-family, but they went with her getting to know Damian instead. So it is what it is.

    (And what do you consider "recent"? I don't think anything like that has happened in the book for maybe two years or so at least?)

    (Regardless of the source of the original question) I think it would be interesting. It would be rather like two foster children getting together. Dick is not Bruce's blood, and the two were not raised together (ignoring for a moment that they were actually raised by different "Bruces") so it might make for some interesting stories.
    It doesn't matter what the writer, artist, or editor had in mind when they created it, or what they said in an interview;
    all that matters is what is on the page.

    Helena knows that Nightwing was the first Robin, so she thinks he's as close to her brother as anyone in this continuity. And that is sick. So DC won't do it.

    on the Earth 2 b4 this current one that may have happened. It was all set up to eventually go there. But this Huntress and Nightwing...ddddddddddon't think so.

    They almost had the Earth 2 Dick Grayson hook up with the Earth 2 Helena Wayne back in 1983 (and they were basically raised together), and suddenly in 2013 it's sick?

    If it was the Bertinell Huntress, sure, why not. But Helena Wayne and Dick Grayson....while not illegal or even necessarily immoral, is still a little creepy.

    Why is it sick? They don't even know each other now, and they aren't blood.

    The closest thing would be where you have a guy who has a daughter, then divorces and becomes a stepfather to a boy, and then that daughter and boy get together. A little weird, but not sick.

    I know, it isn't like they are related or anything. The two haven't even met yet. In the old continuity the two got together for a while in Earth 2 until she left him for Catman or something, right?

    Though there hasn't been any word on if Earth 2 even has a Dick Grayson. So she probably doesn't have any connection with him at all anymore.
