Another teen team book is needed

seeing the original 5 X-Men back really makes me want to see the original New Warriors team somehow transported into the present. i wonder how they'd adapt to such a changed environment.

I would like one but I can't see Marvel getting behind it.

Their focus has been about Avengers and X-Men and while they could use a X-Men teen book, I doubt they have the support to launch another non Avengers teen book, with the Avengers already featuring two (Young Avengers and Avengers Arena). But yeah, there are plenty of young teen and young adult characters that could populate another Young Allies or New Warriors book.

I always thought it was part of Marvel's relaunch strategy a small but vocal minority were complaining that Yost/Kyle's New X-Men were too violent and dark, so they moved them to the new X-Force book. Meanwhile, I suspect one of the editors wanted the book to fail so they had hand tied it with characters that had visually uninteresting abilities from the last New X-Men run (hand picking Pixie and X-23 to be moved to other teams) and gave the ok to lame new characters. This is speculation on my part but I otherwise can't understand how they would think that the Young X-Men series and cast they replaced the previous run with could be considered a improvement.

A young X book is sorely needed. Generation Hope was cut down in its PRIME, just as Asmus was starting to roll.

Young Avengers sounds like EXACTLY want you want; great cast, great drama, cool heroes. Read it. Kieron Gillen's already AMAZING run starts this month. Pick up the first issue.

P.S. but yes, we need another X-teen book... starring Hellion, Dust, Anole, Rockslide, Transonic, Surge and Cipher
