Japanese Namor? I think I'll be liking this. I enjoyed the much hated Exiles Namor claremont wrote as well.
Dazzler really is getting her due as aserious heroine.
With the way extreme x-men is now I'm sure this will be interesting
who is the black hero? Blade? alternate Gambit?

yay my plethora of questions were near answered!
Xtreme X-men was a bit flat early on, but it has certainly exceeded my expectations with recent issues. I like how Greg Pak has approached this series, adding a very Exiles-like spin to the story. It's been a lot of fun seeing Dazzler grow and I also agree with one of the questioners about Sage's return. I'm really glad to see her again. I'm only disappointed that we were denied another Phoenix story by Greg Pak. It sounded like it could have been an interesting trilogy with Quentin playing a larger role. I guess we'll never know. But I'm content to see how he continues Xtreme X-men and ties into the X-Terminators arc. Hope that once it's done, Pak will have other chances to write X-books.![]()

I have no issue with any of Pak's interview aside from Quintin Quire's narrowly-averted larger role. I read "Here Comes Tomorrow" and aside from Morrison playing up the visual tomfoolery of having QQ in a skintight Phoenix bodysock, I thought QQ as anything intrinsically related to the good ol' PF was a bit too much of the self-flagellatory (read self-congratulatory) nature that sometimes seeps in through even the best Morrison work.
It is so refreshing to see a creator as excited as Pak about their current project and all the characters he gets to use. You can tell that he genuinely loves to do what he gets to do, and that part of that is having an ear to his audience. Not trying to confuse or convolute or unnecessarily raise stakes. His continuing enthusiasm makes it's way onto the pages as well. This X-treme team is in the right hands. : )

This team is a Pride Parade. I LOVE IT! Needs more mainstream exposure: Two Bears, Gay icon Dazzler, the Wesley Crusher, Jaded Lesbian super computer, and token cool black man. Best damn team ever, and they even look great in a Pride team illustration. Also, Dazzler's boots are to die for.

Finally a writer that genuinely loves Dazzler and enjoys writing her. This was by far my favorite book of 2012 and I expect to be so for 2013 as well.
My favorite X-Position since anything Mike Carey related. I just wished someone had asked Mr. Pak about Age Of X. I really want Legacy to join Dazzler's team.
