Why is Saga ranked so high? Sure, the setting is cool, but the dialogue is so awful, I had to stop reading.

No, the dialogue is good actually.

the dialogue is something a couple in Panera Bread would talk like, not a space saga. other than the cool premise, people rarely say why its good.

I have a feeling, "OMG BKV, fiona staples! Female creator! Awesome!" has warped everyone. They are nice people! Was there one prominent site or blogger, who was ambivalent? I think Greg Burgas was not so hot about it? Staples' art is good, but hardly any backgrounds in the 40 pages that i read.

    Some omissions.

Batman Inc. (did people sto reading it? Shocking!)
    Bandette
    Danger Club
Spaceman (how is this ignored? It was amazeballs)
"Calm down, call Batman." - Greg Capullo

    The dialogue is basically "S**** S*** F*** F*** TITS BOOBIES S*** S*** F*** F*** F***"

I mean, wow, it's just flat out crude.

I am a little annoyed how people are overrating some of the female creator stuff.

Gail Simone and Kelly Sue are great writers. I have read stuff I loved from them. But Gail's Batgirl is pretty awful and Simone's Captain Marvel is really lackluster (Especially since Carol really doesn't do anything). It's this odd seesaw I hate.

I must be reading the wrong saga. I prefer Songbirds to the one I read.

Yes, that must be it. People can't be getting something from it that you're not, they're just warped by feminism.

I must be reading a completely different Captain Marvel comic. One where she doesn't travel through time, fight kamikaze fliers in Kree spaceships alongside tough-as-nails WAC-ers, or punch a giant robot made up of planes and boats from the Bermuda Triangle.

The staff of the main site and blogs of CBR had their say on what they enjoyed in 2012, and now you can too.

The CBR Forums' Top 50 comics list has begun.

Why is Danger Club not on this list? I feel like it's the most overlooked comic of 2012. Does no one else see how great it is?

Surprised at the inclusion of titles like Buffy season 9 and the absence of Storm Dogs, Elephantmen and I, Vampire.

Still, an interesting list with very interesting rankings.

But every single year when someone says "Why wasn't Batman #1?" it isn't because of character loyalty. It's a cold analysis of objective art technique, layout quality, and literary merit.

No Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye? For shame.

I've never heard of half of the comics on this list and I really don't think I would want to.............
