    I'm not sure intervening is the right word, but I imagine WB have had a more direct role in DC Comics since they restructured DC. They created DC Entertainment and appointed Diane Nelson as President. She's held a number of positions in Warner Bros, so there's already a WB exec overseeing the company.

    As to how far that oversight goes, it's harder to say. I think it's fair to say that something like Superman having a relationship with another man would be something Didio, Lee, & Johns would talk to Nelson about, especially if it was a case of that being the new status quo. But Alan Scott being gay was probably something that wouldn't have been on her radar.
