Default Should the "Kids" fight the Name Bat-Rogues more?

By kids I mean the members of the Bat-Family who aren't Bruce (The current/previous robins, Babs etc.), and by Name rogues, the big ones like Joker, Two Face, Scarecrow etc.
While creating new villains should always be encouraged, I can't say I feel all of them have been winners with the relaunch, plus it creates this impression that Dick and co. aren't considered "Good Enough" to handle them. This is particularly true with Dick, since he JUST came off of a period where he WAS Batman and dealing with that level of villain. Not to mention the fact that it seems like just from a "random odds" perspective, he and the other "kids" should run into these villains naturally given how many there are, otherwise what's really the point in keeping them in Gotham?

It's probably to give them their own rogues gallery.... but yeah... Scarecrow, Clayface and the gang should appear once in a while in the other books, since they all do live in Gotham after all. The Penguin has already appeared a few times in the Catwoman comics.

I'm usually okay with this. I've wanted the league of assassins to be better utilized for a while now, and that would be a good way to do it.

Yes, especially in Nightwing's case, since many of those Bat-Rogues were enemies of Batman and Robin.

Characters like Riddler should be completely given to Nightwing.

I feel like Riddler doesn't have much history with Dick though. If anything I feel like Riddler would work better as an adversary for Tim.

But Dick has so much history with Two Face that I've longed considered him "shared", and would love to see him be more defined as a rogue for NW than for Batman. Clayface could also be interesting if it's the first one, since they both come from showbusiness backgrounds.

But I really liked how RR for a while really seemed to have that 70s globetrotting vibe, and felt that the LoA were a great fit for that.

Heh, fair enough. I was just hoping to push off the Riddler onto Nightwing, so that Batman wouldn't have to deal with him again. Riddler vs. Red Robin would be a better pairing, but I'm still not convinced that Tim is long for this (New 52) world.

I agree with Two Face and I think Clayface is a good choice for Dick, too. I could also see Croc working well against him, regardless of how much history they have together.

Really he just needs a solo that can channel some of what originally made the character great. Making Tim a clean slate (relatively) could be a good thing for the character, but so far all they've done is made him more of a generic robin.

But yeah, honestly I don't even really like Riddler as a villain all that much. Like Penguin, he seems too smart and sensible to continually put himself in a position that always ends with injury/imprisonment. Of course, that all depends on how far you take his "obsession" with being smarter than Bats.

I think Croc would be more interesting as an informant type character than an enemy. I like how they've set him up in Red Hood as this regular dude (and Arsenal's AA sponsor) who seems like he went to villainy simply because it was the most obvious option remaining after he became a hideous monster.

Gotham is one of best developed speculative concepts in fiction, so I'd like to see the iconic Bat villains circulate into the other heroes' titles as well and in addition to the development of their own rogues.

Nightwing pre-DCnU had some decent villains in the Bat tradition. Batwoman's Alice and Medusa are wonderful. It should be mix of new and old, but the iconic villains should primarily be Batman foes.

Fighting The Scarecrow is what caused Oracle to accept Stephanie Brown could be Batgirl, so yes let the others prove themselves or see how much more they need to improve by letting them go up against the big guns from time to time.
