    I've only read The Chinatown Death Cloud Peril. It really is that good. I haven't been able to bring myself to read the sequel as I had the idea for the same plot about three years earlier.

    I was introduced to Gatiss and Aaronovitch(And Paul Cornell for that matter) with their Dr. Who novels in the 90's. Which if you love classic Who, you should definitely check out.

    Anybody here familiar with the Illuminatus! trilogy by Robert Anton Wilson? Sounds a bit like some of the books you're all describing.
