Spider-Man Predictions for 2013

I don't think the Season 2 of "Ultimate Spider-Man" will be the last. Since it's the only place where we can see the REAL Spiderman in action this year, they will probably have to make a third one.

The Marvel block on Disney XD is going to have Ultimate Spider-Man season 2 and Avengers Assemble season 1. We know there's a new Hulk cartoon in development as well. Beyond that, we know nothing about what else Marvel has in development.

It's possible the block could expand. It's possible it could remain two shows.

But programs targeted towards younger audiences do not follow the same rules as programs targeted towards older audiences. This is why I think Ultimate Spider-Man season 2 will be the last for that program.

(Of course the show could change in some way and be rebranded. Such efforts gave more episodes to Justice League/Justice League Unlimited.)

If Ultimate Spider-Man only has 52 episode with won't be a success as a Disney animated show will runn 65 episodes barring ratings failure, legal complications or executive meddling.

Doc Ock Spider-Man will be phased out as part of a summer event.
