The Leader: Williard Phule (phules company novels).

The Genius: Doctor Rodney McKay (Stargate Atlantis)

The fighter: Michael J Caboose (red vs blue)

The muscle: The Tick (Animated)

The Robot: it's hard to argue with johnny-5 (short circuit). plus having one well meaning bot playing the straight man will bring more lols.

The Girl: Earthworm Jim (neither gender) :p.

The animal: Squirtle...in black leather.

The Villian: The talking toaster (red dwarf). That thing is evil.

The Vehicle: go-karts for everybody!

The Partner: Rodney is fused with the toaster, becoming a borg of hillarity

The Genius: Professor Monkey for a head (Earthworm Jim)

The Fighter: Deadpool (marvel)

The Muscle: Rocksteady (tmnt 90s)

The Robot: Waspinator (transformers: Beast Wars)

The Girl: Berg Katsu (see the original Gatchaman for why ;)) also 2nd in command.

The animal: Meowth; somehow he and arnie have ended up sulking in the corner.

The hero: Arnold J Rimmer (Red Dwarf).

The vehicle: again, go-karts for everybody!

The Partner: well besides poker night, arnold j rimmer has adopted meowth. It's not like he hasn't had a cat companion before ;)

Why do I have a feeling you wanted every member of your hero team slaughtered, Stigma Rex? Well, the villain team takes it because they have the greater amount of power.

As for moonknight11's battle (doing your job, SS), the hero team wipes the floor with the villain team. He had some heavy hitters on the hero team the villains could not match up against.

To be fair, this is a tough exercise for creating teams that are balanced. Look at my first pairing. I forgot to state that my Superboy was the animated Young Justice version and ended up overpowering my hero team because anybody could assume I meant the comic version, which they did.
