This continues to be one of my favorite comics. It captures the distinct voice of each character so perfectly (especially the CMC).
    Top DC: Wonder Woman
    Top Marvel: Hawkeye

Not only was this a fun comic, but it's the first one I've read with several references to David Bowie.

    SPOILERS:

The entrance was flanked by statues of dogs with their names "Ziggy" and "Stardust" from "Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars." So of course we also have spiders.

There is a sign later on giving directions to the emerald mine: "Sashay on the boardwalk, scurry to the ditch." That's from the song "Diamond Dogs." The Diamond Dogs seem to the be former owners of the mine, with several "DD" symbols and dog statues. The map at the end says "Beware the poachers they call them the Diamond Dogs." The song says "The diamond dogs are poachers and they hide behind trees" and the chorus repeats "they call them the diamond dogs" quite a bit.

The "Red Gems Only" sign during the spider encounter says "Red like the jungle burning bright." This is a line from "Cat People."

Finally the exit to the mine says across the lintel and the posts "Never look back, walk tall, act fine." This is from "Golden Years."
    Pull list:
Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Worlds' Finest, My Little Pony, Sword of Sorcery, The Flash, Animal Man, Birds of Prey, Lone Ranger

Nice, I was wondering what all those signs were referring to.

The comic itself was fantastic, Cook and Price are really doing great work so far. Wasn't sure how well a comic adaptation would go, but it's already become one of my favorites.
