The movie is not yet rated, i hope Fox doesn't screw fans by giving us another watered down PG-13 installment, this needs to be rated R as science has always intended for the franchise to be. I didn't pay a dime to see the last installment in a theater as i had to wait for the unrated cut which is a smart move, Part 4 was unnecessary to use a PG-13 for an already established adult R-rated action franchise.
Sure there are plenty of enjoyable PG-13 rated action/sci-fi movies like Mission Impossible, Skyfall, Avengers, Dark Knight Trilogy or whatever but PG-13 HAS absolutely NO place in R-rated adult franchises as i has happened to Robocop with part 3, Alien/Predator franchises with AVP 1 and Terminator with Terminator Salvation (Another one i didn't pay to see at a theater as i had to wait for the R-rated director's cut on blu-ray).
Audiences are growing smart as they are going anti-PG13ing of R-rated franchises as last year when Fox and Lionsgate threatened us with PG-13 rated Prometheus and Expandables 2 as audiences with fans of Alien and Expandables rejected that idea as they launched email campaigns, online petitions, facebook pages, youtube videos and all that going against the idea as the studios DID listened as we finally got them back to R-rated. And both were successful at the box-office proving there IS an audience for major R-rated movies as it proved they respected the fanbases of Alien/Expandables including the audience as the fans/audience conquered executive meddling especially when the PG-13 remake of Total Recall bombed at the box-office as audiences voted with their wallets when the TR remake should had been R rated like the original and the unrated director's cut was better than it's theatrical cut yet still think they should had USED that cut instead of the cut PG-13 version.
Now if we want our R-rating even back to the DH franchise we must do an email campaign which must act fast, then email them in a nice polite manner to make it R-rated and we can get that rating for the new movie. Here are links:
