No big surprises with the choices here, even though I was expecting Building Stories to be #1 and Saga in the top 5, but not at the very top. Glad Hellblazer got a good farewell by making the top 10. Cheers, John, it was a hell of a ride.

Sad that Storm Dogs and Elephantmen got no recognition at all in a top 100 list, but since it's been compiled by top 10 picks, apparently no CBR staffer likes them that much. Which is a shame, really, I already said why in the 24-11 place thread.

And no love for I, Vampire either - in my opinion the best DC New 52 title.

I would trade these three for, say, Manhattan Projects, Daredevil and Batman here. And certainly for most of the 100-11th place titles.

An interesting top 100 list all the same, with VERY interesting rankings.

Nothing I read in the top ten, but Hellblazer and Underwater Welder seem interesting. I'll be picking up Building Stories for sure. Actually, underwater Welder doesn't seem interesting at all, but it's gotten a lot of praise, so I may check it out.

Great choice for the Number One comic of 2012. I agree. Saga was the best new comic of 2012 and at the rate it is going, it will be the best comic of 2013 as well!

Hawkeye and Saga deserve the praise they get. I love them both so much. I think it's great how different hawkeye is to the usual stuff marvel put out and it's so lucky that it happens with my favourite hero too.

As usual superhero titles are overrated. It's hard to see how Uncanny X-Force and Batman could be where they are.
At least, Prophet is there. I agree that I, Vampire should be there. I guess that proves you have to be an established writer, artist or character to draw attention.
