Which Avengers deserve their own solo films?

I believe I first heard it on AOTS, they were doing a story about the Marvel Short Film Item 47 appearing on the Avengers Blu-Ray. I thought the story also mentioned something about Namor getting his own short.

Has anyone seen any of the Marvel shorts? There are 3 I read about: The Consultant, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer, and Item 47, but I haven't heard anything else about more of them. Suppose we have to wait until Ant-Man or Iron Man 3 comes out for another short.

I haven't seen (or even heard of) The Consultant. The other two are great.

they should have kept Agent Coulson around. he could have fullfilled the Everett K Ross role in a Black Panther movie.

Seriously, didn't you see the announcement? Coulson is going to be a regular character in the S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series.

oh, i saw it. i just assumed that it was a flashback. like he'll show up in the first episode; to link it to the Avengers.

No, I'm pretty sure it's going to be a regular thing (assuming the series gets picked up).

Not on the list, but a Dr. Strange movie would make me a very happy guy.

I'd love Common as Cage, given that Idris is caught up being Heimdal.

I am certain he is, but that boxing scene really sold me on his the physicality needed to be Cage. Besides, he looks like some of the versions of Cage I've seen:
