Question Which Avengers deserve their own solo films?

OK so before the next Avengers film Cap and Thor both will have sequels out and I assume Ant-man as well. Has there been any word of an Avenger member getting their own solo film beyond that? I heard early rumors of a Hawkeye movie but hope that was a joke. Which Avengers (that we haven't seen live-action versions of yet) most deserve their own movie?

I heard that Ms. Marvel would be coming out.
I hope I shall possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of all titles, the character of an honest man.

Yeah I said it. Falcon is the best choice for the first Black Superhero lead film. No underlying controversy over him, no over the top blaxploitation to hold him back or insult us, and he is has already had multiple exposures on television so he is at least somewhat recognizable and will be even more so when Cap 2 comes out. Give Us Falcon Marvel!

    1) Black Panther
Go back and read Priest's run on the book. Perfect for an adaptaion

    2) Hercules
In the vain of Pak/Van Lente.

    3) Black Widow
High energy espionage based on Rucka's run.

    4) Namor of Atlantis

My top choice is probably Carol Danvers. If the next Avengers movie focus on Thanos, a more cosmic hero like Carol segways well into that.

Black Panther and Spider-Woman are both solid choices for being turned into movies.

My "other" option is Black Widow. Easy to turn into a movie, and she's already established herself well in the movie universe. Though I think a Black Widow and Hawkeye book, or a SHIELD movie might work better than a solo movie.

yeah none of that list deserves a movie and if they do make a movie about them it'll flop. Still I'm voting Carol out of that limited, short-sighted list.

I would also like to see either Black Widow or Iron Fist get the spot light.

But I feel that both wont be on the silver screen in a solo flick for sometime.

I'll second this and add Captain Marvel (Carol obvs) and Black Panther. I think Luke Cage should have one as well, but I'd much rather have it be a Heroes For Hire flick instead of him joining the Avengers.

Get those rights issues worked out and deliver an entertaining Scarlet Witch movie. It's pretty simple - just let Fox take Quicksilver, nobody cares about him anyway and there are tons of Wanda stories you can tell without him.

Carol Danvers as Captain Marvel seems perfectly suited for the big screen, between the great costume, military background, and simply being a female hero. I'd also like to think Hawkeye has the potential to carry a successful film after a strong showing in The Avengers, though I don't think it could be anything like his current solo comic.

I voted Carol Danvers. Of all of Marvels female characters I think she would be most able to carry her own movie. Pretty much for these reasons.....

I do want to see more Black Widow but I think she would work better in a SHIELD movie as opposed to on her own. Black Widow, Hawkeye, Fury and Hill.
