Mine's a mix of both, I included all the new books I got yesterday plus some books I decided to re-read just for my own pleasure.

I think the majority of mine will be re-reading actually, I totally plan on re-reading all of Hellboy for instance.

It's for everything you read this year, whether it is the first time you read it or the 100th. Unless you don't want to count rereads, then that is your prerogative. Do what thou wilt is the whole of the law... (unless it violates one of shaxper's guidelines-then watch out...

    Wishful thinking placeholder.

Just loving reading through everyone else's lists at this point...

I'm just slightly ahead of you at #23 right now. Hoping to read the entire vol. 1 by the end of February. I'm particularly looking forward to City at War but am surprised to see just how little of the series was done by Eastman/Laird or even follows an actual continuity. This series really was all about the marketing. Still, it's been a fun read.

    January total = 81
Dang. 8 days in??? Do you go to work at any point during the day? In other words, I'm impressed

Got these as a present for Christmas 2011 and still haven't gotten around to reading them yet. How are they?

Planning to read this series sometime soon. Why the skipping around? Are you just missing those issues?

Were these from that stretch where he had the metallic looking suit and a Russian sidekick/love-interest? I haven't read those since I was a kid.

Going to be reading these VERY soon. Just ordered them from Lonestar, and I can't wait.

Little Nemo in Slumberland #1-5(2011, Devil's Due) Winsor McCay. These collect both the adventures of Little Nemo from 1909-1914 the 1924-1926 run.
Love the artwork and the tone, but I never have the patience to read many of these in one sitting. I find the sequencing so hard to follow, especially following the dialogue and narration at the same time.

Favorite: It's only the second day of the month but I just don't see anything topping Hellboy in Hell. In just two issues it's hands down one of my favorite comics of all time, the way that elements from the story so far are beautifully bookended by elements from some of the earlier stories is just brilliant. Reading it you'd think that Hellboy in Hell was written at the same time as Seed of Destruction or the Chained Coffin because of just how well they gel but in reality nearly 20 years separates these stories. It's just fantastic.
I read Hellboy up to Conqueror Worm just this month, along with BPRD Plague of Frogs, and decided it was as far as I cared to go. Would you recommend jumping right to Hellboy in Hell, or would I be confused?

    Great taste!

If this is your first time reading Usagi, I created a guide to following the series that can be found here, if you are interested.

I need to check this series out, eventually. I've heard good things.

Jack Kirby's Fourth World Omnibus volume 1, (collecting Jimmy Olsen #133-139, Forever People #1-3, New Gods #1-3, Mr. Miracle #1-3, 1970-1971)
I so want these volumes, but the expense has kept me away thus far.
