    Default Millennium Falcon

I'm thinking of getting this next month. But it's pricey. Do any of you own a MF new or old? Im building a star wars collection next year and i think this will get me on the right foot.

That's a pretty cool play set, I had the giant micro machines falcon as a kid but one that fits regular size figures is cool.

I had the old Falcon. Not sure if it was 2.5 feet long but it was big and I did lose a figure or two in it. It was a hand me down toy that had previously belonged to my uncle. I think I'd rather have a model with better dimensions and details and colors for the price tag.

Especially now, as a kid the play set version would be cool but as an adult I don't know if I could justify the cost even to myself. A model though takes effort and time so it would be more of an art piece than a toy, and much easier to explain to my wife.

I saw them on eBay for around $120. I may ask my uncle if his son has one already. My uncle has been a lifelong Star Wars fanatic and he owned the original. I might want to buy one for his son for his birthday now.

I still have all my old, well-used Star Wars toys. Probably even have the Blue Snaggletooth figure. (The only one worth anything loose.)

I wouldn't get any new ones unless as a gift to a child. They aren't going to be worth anything and they take up a lot of space.

I had one as a kid, but I always found it too cumbersome to really enjoy much. I got much more mileage with the miniature version. And there's no way I could justify buying it as an adult.
