His recent issue of Avenging was very good. That might be one of the saving graces about this whole direction is that they've put some very talented artists on the books. I have to think that was intentional.

No idea. I think it might be secret. But I'm also interested, Martin and Rivera are both brilliant artists.

But they both make covers for Spidey!

I'd be excited if his Spider-Man stuff didn't look like he was modifying his own style to pseudo-ape that of Ramos. Camuncoli's become guilty of the same thing, it seems.

I don't buy Amazing nor will I buy Superior but I was pretty disappointed that they took Stegman off Scarlet Spider when he was really starting to show his stuff. That book's had some consistency issues art wise so I wished they put Reilly Brown there as the regular artist.

Superior Spider-Man is going to be a good looking book though.

It's probably a good move for Stegman's career, though.

I agree that Reilly Brown has been the best artist for that book since Stegman; I also think Marvel should find a way to keep more consistency on their second and third tier books art-wise. X-Factor has become an artist-of-the-month grab bag that does not do justice to the incredible consistency of PAD's writing (Get well soon Peter!!).

Not going to debate that at all, it's a profile raising book.

But just as a Scarlet Spider fan I can't help but be disappointed in losing him given that so many other replacements, while having ranged from good to decent, haven't really made the book look better while other Spider-Man books have had stylistically better art team. Now I'm not saying that Khoi Pham isn't a really good artist but the inking/coloring of the book and overall artistic direction just feels either incompatible or second rate.

Yeah it seems like a lot of the lower tier/lower selling books will have to deal with that.

I'm still pissed that Jeff Parker lost Kev Walker/Declan Shalvey for Neil Edwards in Dark Avengers.

Stegman is a huge draw for me, no doubt. He's fantastic.
