She's not herself literally at the time, but yea, I have no doubt that Emma would hope to do the same thing if Kenji didn't "whisper" to or Serpent's magic didn't influence her.

In dog days, all we need is Frost.
they didn't even invite Shortpack to Xavier's funeral. or Fantomex's funeral.
I think some of you might be blinded to the point I'm trying to project about the X-Men... It's not necessarily about who looks good physically in their eyes, but rather are the X-Men numb to the idea that despite the fact that these people are now mutants, deep down, they're also human with feelings. And often when living in a society where the general populace is against mutants, they suddenly find themelves as mutants themselves, which I'm sure is just about as life changing as becoming homeless overnight, or losing a limb. It's a traumatic event. And what I was trying to say in my opening post is that I think that after all these years, the X-Men are oblivious to that experience, and don't really offer any tangible or genuine sympathy for these new mutants. Between rescuing them from society, and accomplishing their goal of gathering more mutants to their cause, something is getting lost in translation, and rescuing them seems to be more of a routine chore than it is a thoughout plan.

That's the school's job. Xavier's had mentors just for that.
