True, but I guess better late than never?

The last page of the arc was rather bad I find it. After making that whole speech about loving everyone, Wonder Woman ends up shooting Hades, underminding that whole statement in one clean shot. It makes her look like a big hypocritc. Just bad.
Oh no, I think you missed the point of that page. One of the issues, as WW and the others are discussing is that Hades is searching for love so hard while he really doesn't have any love for himself. She then shots him with Eros's gun, which makes the receiver of the bullet fall in love with the first person they see, as Hades is staring at a reflection of himself. Absolutely, stunningly perfect in every possible way, maybe the best single moment in a Wonder Woman comic in a long time. That alone made that arc worth it.

As for Akins, his work is very problematic I find it. His people look bad, with Wondy being the worst of it, with poorly drawn body structures, silly faces, weak action scenes, and the fact that combined with the coloring itself, his work makes the comic look like a cartoon in a way. Doesn't mesh well with the story I find it, sort of like MW.
A lot of people seem to dislike him, but really, I didn't think he was so bad.
