    Default So.. post AvX

Were any depowered mutants repowered by what Hope-Phoenix did at the end of the series, or did it just put the spark in a lot of new mutants?

No one was repowered that we know of. Only new mutants have showed up. We have a thread to ask questions like this. I can't find it right now, but I will link it when I do for your future reference, spellcraft85.

    EDIT: Here it is.

    Default cable without T-O Parts

so after reading Cable & X-Force I am wondering a few things:

Cable was infected as a Baby by Apocalypse with the T-O Virus.
Cyclops sent him to the future so that the Clan Askani could save his live.
They did and Cable learned how to use his Psi-Powers to hold the T-O Virus at bay.
After loosing his Powers (as all telepaths did at the time) he acquired the psi-mitar to channel the little of his power he still had and amplify them.

after the first arc of Cable and Deadpool his powers grew Stronger and stronger to the Point where he was at the same level as Nate Grey/X-men was.

First Question: I never understood why his powers suddenly grew so strong - any help would be appreciated

Cable battled basically the whole world and the Silver Surfer took him down. Otherwise he would've burned out because of his vast powerlevels.
This left Cable without a left arm - the surfer destroyed it.

Deadpool than fused Cable with the techno-organic mass of some kind of baby-alien. Cable was without powers but used technical means as a replacement.

I always thougth, that at this point the T-O Virus was basically nonexistant because it would've killed/transformed Cable as he lacked any Psi abilities at this time.

then came messiah complex. Cable took the baby traveled through time - all without the replacement powers he acquired in Cable and Deadpool.

while on the run he showed signs of his psi powers - but on a very lowlevel scale.
also at the and of this cable series the T-O Virus was transforming him completly.

at the and of x-sanction hope cured him of the T-O Virus. he now had a weak flesh left arm and his left T-O eye was organic again.

Questions: why is his left arm - which is not even part of his original body but alien T-O Mass now flesh?
why is he missing his right eye - the one that wasn't techno-organic to begin with?

You missed Soldier X, a great series drew by Kordey) where cable was overpowerred. it began with his loss of the Techno organic Virus ( due to the cure of the Legacy virus in the air that seemed to affect the TO virus WTF?!).

In this series cable was nearly immortal, capable of alter matter, even becoming giant, and he seems to have a great healing factor ( he tried to commit suicide, but cannot achieve).

it's also strange that Stryfe never show the same level than Nate Grey ou Cable.

I'm trying to write a fan-fic and am wondering if magnetism would affect the Moonstone itself somehow.
The power would probably have to be more geo-based (like the earth benders on avatar). The mutant would need to be able to influence more than just metal. But, not too much more. They could probably manage to effect it if their skill is just to effect metal, but has been temporarily enhanced.

Stryfe was "insanely powerful" (see: "X-Cutioner's Song") -- Just as powerful as Nate Grey and more so than Nathaniel... This is due to the fact that Stryfe nor Nate was ever infected with Apocalypse's techno-organic virus like Cable was.

Nate was eventual deemed more powerful than both Cable and Stryfe only because he was specifically and genetically created by AOA Mr. Sinister to overload, kill Apocalypse, and then die.

Unfortunately, Nate didn't die due to a special tattoo he gained from a dying cross-time counterpart.

even if Stryfe was "insanely powerfull", i've never seen him change raisin into poison by altering it in molecular level ( like cable in soldier X), or create matter ( like x man). in all the late event that featured stryfe he was too easily defeated i don't remember the issues clearly but it's control over telepathy and TK always failed ( remember such a thing with lady deathstrike), he was beaten by Wolverine, X23, Warpath and Domino ?!!!

I thought the current Cable was the (baby) one brought back by Cannonballs & Siren, during the House of M crossover - I thought this Cable came from a different reality. The Cable from the existing timeline disappeared whilst fighting the Skorrn. Cable also had bits of his brain burned out by Deadpool using a thingamybob.

    Stryfe didn't have to!

And, on another note... Is Jubilation Lee still a vampire? If so anyone have a recent pics of her doing vampire stuff? Thanks

I thought Nate (X-Man) was also more powerful because he was the child of both Scott and Jean (genetically, at least), and not Scott and Maddie (who was a clone, and however perfect a clone may be, is still is not as good as the original)? I may be recalling AoA incorrectly (as it's been years), but I seem to remember something about this being stated at one point or another.
