I just don't don't think him moving things with is mind is cool anymore is all. He can still have his TTK but just to sense stuff as opposed to effecting it. I think that would be just fine.

thats like saying superman can have his strength to push, but not pull, the two go together, and neither can work without the other.if he couldnt sense it,he wouldnt be able.to move it,and if he couldnt move it he wouldnt be able to sense it.

also its the opposite of how supermans powers work, superman draws power from a outward source to make his personal strength increase, and SB draws power from his mind to move things outwardly.

every incarnation of comic kon has had at their next step in power"moving things with their minds" ,sins of youth, titans of tomorrow, and now new 52,this isnt anything crazy or out there for the character.

It's actually not the same at all. He can have a displaced conscience that lets him sense whatever but he can't act on it. There is no role that says because he must be able to manipulate things from a distance with his mind in order for his senses to work. That's more like saying Superman can hear anything so his ears should be able to effect said thing in the same way you suggest Superboy's mind should effect what he senses.

This is all just my opinion so please don't take offense to it and you are welcome to disagree with me. I just don't see his actual TK being written as imaginative and interesting as his senses simple as that. If they linked the two more like they did in issue 2 of the book I would love it. In said issue Superboy lifts the guards up from their feet and studies them in what seems to be a very painful manner. I enjoyed that because it truly seemed like his powers were linked.

I got the sense that he only saw his body as a means to house his conscience and his TK just felt like his mind was reaching out and touching the world.

.....now it just comes of as telekinetics and nothing more. No more vivid link to the world just another super power now.

I did enjoy his outrage at his senses being gone and his powers being compressed saying "I'm not like you I don't want big muscles". I thought that was cool and I feel like going forward in this arc Superboy should feel claustrophobic, blind, deff, and uncomfortable because his now trapped his own body.

That what I hope we get in the coming issue of Superboy.....as always these are just my opinions.

Thats your first problem thinking they are seperate,he cant sense outside of his own body without the TK,he might be able to use the power for two different means, but they are the same.

I really liked howhe used it in issue 2 too,and i do believe he is using his TTK in this way all the time, its just not spelled out for us,and he also uses it for different reasons, like reading a aura to picking up a block.

I like that he is pretty much blind now,and its driving himcrazy, makes me want to see himhave his senses even more.

He uses his TTK to perceive and manipulate the world, its so different than superman, but also different than TK users also.

    I wouldnt mind two ways
    - current way, sense and manipulate on the subatomic level
    - kesel TTK,with limited touch TTK senses, with human dna that is altered to have solar battery, heat vision, super hearing,,and probably stop there.

I'm aware they are the same power (I said this) they just come off as separate. They spell out when uses his TK senses all the time why can't they just give us small sentence to let us know what it's like to us his powers.

You know, if they stopped calling it TK and just said his conscience then I'd like it more.

And i hate that they made his sensory tie with his spread out consciousness,it should be just about the power itself, like skaars, magnetos, etc.

This was from years ago,a fan made short story with adult kon using his TTK as a sensory power...THAT is how it should be...

Is anyone glad SB is going to be using classic "touch" TTK in issue 16?

Ii wish lobdell was consistent with both sensory and manipulation applications of his TTK.he had him lift things without touching them, but had him only use his senses while touching things, but sometimes they show him using it without any contact at all.what i woukd want is two levels of TTK,one being strictly touch, not full TK,and only sensing things while touching them, and two being that he can spread his TTK out and sense everything, and has full TK.

The difference between regular TK,and any version of TTK is,like for example,if a regular TK user wanted to squash a car,he could, same as SB,but only SB the moment his TTK energy touches the car tell him if there was ppl inside.
