If they need a Cena replacement then I say Sheamus isn't doing much. With Sheamus's tough irishman gimmick and Rybacks "monster" gimmick that may be something to go on till they get back.

IMO if they want to get Ryback his cred back then have him take out Taker then use that to build to a WM match involving the two. Especially since I think it was Ryback who mentioned that he'd like to wrestle Taker at WM
As Alex said before, its classic mentality, You build one guy up and any new guy who is getting over is either turned heel to face the hero or is used in a way to get the main guy even more over ( even when its not needed) an example, Punk was massively over in the 2nd summer of punk and wwe tried to use it to get HHH over when that wasn't what was needed. It didn't work out and Punk still got over but not to what he should have been. Bret Hart said it best, a company picks a guy like a horse then works him till he can't go anymore then panics since they don't have a backup plan.

--Regarding John Cena, the injury is legitimate but it's not clear exactly what the injury is or the severity of it. The injury took place at a show seven days ago in Geneva, and he worked house shows on it so it's not like an Achilles tear which would have put him down for nine months. He will be at TV tomorrow night. It may be the injury Sting suffered last year on the European tour. It's tricky because with C.M. Punk out, that would be the two top full-timers gone, and Punk shouldn't be wrestling on his knee the way it is.
If they don't know the severity means he hasn't seen the doc yet.
    That is just sad

This goes against the cynical part of me but with all the stories of WWE helping other wrestlers out why don't they throw Virgil a bone and hire him as a road agent or something?

Virgil was hired a few years ago but was fired due to issues he caused. remember Ted jr's bodyguard. He messed that up backstage ( I dont know how) so once they got him out of the role they fired him.

When did that happen? I haven't seen R-Truth in a while. and much like with Kofi, WWE pushed someone and then did nothing. Crazy Heel R-truth should have won the wwe title in that match with Cena. Or claim another match due to intereference from little jimmy. Kofi should have kept strong, and a serious contender as was shown when he fought Randy Orton.

The WWE should look at these injuries s a gift. Keep Cena and Punk on the shelf for awhile, and do some stuff that is out of the box. Push your heels hard. Have Cena drop the title to Ryback. Make him more of an Ultimate Warrior to Cena's Hogan. Heel doesnt completely fit him well. You have MITB coming up. Let Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesner win both titles. Let Sheamus/Orton take over Team Hell No place and be the dominant face team.Give Ziggler run the 4 star classic gambit with Del Rio,Daniel Bryan,Jericho, and Kofi.So you have some big time champs when Cena and Punk come back.

Comparing Ryback to Warrior is perfect.
Because he is about as good as warrior, but not as fun of a promo.
