Nice look back. Personally, I have always liked what Bryne did in this regard. I think it makes the idea of his losing his world, they their lives without ever having even gotten to hold each other for the briefest of minutes all the more tragic. And it never changed the idea he is Kryptonian even if Earth was where he took his first breath.
