Yes, a topic like this might get ugly or funny or crazy ..or brilliant. Let's not be so pessimistic that we unfairly discourage healthy, stimulating AND challenging intellectual exchanges between a postor and the forum community. I'm a part of that community, and I don't have any problems with this discussion, so far. Maybe, it will get ugly or weird, ..but, I think it's my right and the right of our fellow postors to follow the discussion to that point and make the decision, whether we participate, walk away or (only, as a last resort) ask that the discussion be closed.

If you are presently participating in this discussion and welcome the possibility that it will be intense, funny, challenging or ugly, please step forward and share your thoughts. Let's encourage our fellow postors to do the same.

All that said, I think Wonder Woman is either a drug dealer or a high-priced callgirl.

Maybe Wonder Woman earns money by being a stripper and the club that was seen in Wonder Woman 4 is her strip club and she was wearing clothes because it was her day off.

Maybe Wonder Woman is a godly stripper who goes to godly strip clubs and strips for the pleasure of gods, demons, ghouls and monsters and they give her some gold coins.

One possible answer to your London point: Because she's never been depicted as living in London in the past and it would be curious to find out why that happened, particularly since Steve Trevor is American and she left the island to take him there. How did the switcheroo to London take place?

Actually YES! I happened to be fishing nearby when he crashed, and he showed it to me. Since I'm a Wonder Woman reader I was able to direct him DIRECTLY to Paradise Island!

The purpose of this board is to discuss all things Wonder Woman.

In the past we have seen discussions ranging from internet girl on girl fight videos featuring WW to the latest Triple X WW parody pornography to WW fishbowls to WW books for early readers.

All that is asked is that posters are courteous and respect each other's views and that people remember that this is an all ages board. So even prurient topics need to be discussed without the use of profanity.

Not every thread is for everybody. And not every RESPONSE to a thread needs to be acknowledged.

Choose wisely... and it will enhance your board experience. :)

I think Bryan Azzarello's Wonder Woman is like a female answer to Doc Savage - superhuman adventurer, world traveller and independently wealthy - but, he's given us no reason to be ceratin of any of that. So, the question of how she pays for things raises alot of other questions.

For my money, the biggest of them is, "Where does she live?" So far, we see her and her companions drifting through a set of rooms that we understand are somewhere in London, England. Whether these rooms are in a mansion (maybe, owned by her), a flat, condominium or hotel, we have absolutely no idea, and it almost doesn't matter which, since ANY of these would be very costly to keep up, ..especially, in a city like London. Just the same, knowing the answer would give us an idea of what kind of money she's working with and raise the speculation of how she earns it.

Maybe, she's a kept woman. Maybe, she's a showgirl. Maybe, she's in Cirque De Soleil?

In a newspaper strip, this probably wouldn't matter much. Since this is a comic book, it matters to us.
