I'm glad the book is doing well too. I still think it hasn't reached it's potential though.

Not sure about that. My guess is the book is at roughly it's 1/3 point with the logical/expected time for Peter to return being early Spring of 2014 with the new movie slated then. In my mind, it's going to be very difficult to top the sales of either ASM #700 or Superior #1. Story-wise, I am likewise doubtful what else Slott can do to garner the level of interest that he did with this move. Slott has already used one big moment in having SpOck kill Massacre and I can't see SpOck actually killing of a Marvel hero; I mean, Peter's return is expected so it would all have to be in how he does it and whether the press gets behind it the way they did with Superior #1.

What about a brand new ASM #1 with Norman Osborn returning as the Green Goblin to crash the wedding of a back-from-the-dead Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson? That would sell some books!

lol----throw in Venom hosting Peter's wild bachelor party the night before and you might be onto something!

For what it's worth this is my first time buying a SM comic in ten years at least. I was intrigued by the premise, bought issue #1 digitally, and before I knew it I had ten digital issues bought. I'll stick with the series for as long as it stays fresh and interesting.
