From the list i would say Skyfall. Decent entertainment.
But i have only watched 3 movies from that list so...(other two being the avengers, who bored me, and the last Batman, who was nice but i'm not a huge fan)

Voted for Avengers, though it's very close between that, Moonrise Kingdom and Skyfall. The Five Year Engagement I enjoyed more than I thought I would, as well.

I voted Skyfall, but I still haven't seen some said to be great ones that came out this year like Argo, Life of Pi, Holy Motors and Lincoln.
...And does Mr. Goddanm Batman says so much as ''Thanks''? OF COURSE not. That'd hardly be GRIM AND GRITTY, would it?

-DKU's Jim Gordon.
Picking is hard because I like a lot of these movies for different reasons. Avengers is an obvious one. I thought MIB 3 won the "most improved franchise" award since it was much better than MIB 2. John Carter gets the "most underrated" award. Skyfall did a good job winning me over despite not being a 007 fan. And the Hobbit was very good, though much too long.
However, one that came out this past year that I actually went out and bought on DVD was: Brave. I know a lot of people didn't think it compared well to previous Pixar fare. However, that movie was exactly what I wanted it to be at the time it came out: a good fairy tale (or at least, a good fairy tale that was not the umpteenth version of Snow White). That's all I needed and wanted from it.

I voted for "other" which means I voted for Dredd.
Avengers certainly. It's been a life-long dream literally and it didn't disappoint.![]()

I'm gonna do a top 5 and bottom 5. Before anyone flames me for omissions in my top 5 or what I put in my bottom 5 keep in mind I can only go by what I've seen. I'm sure there were worse movies out there than my bottom 5 but I didn't see them. And there may be better movies too . . . I'm waiting for the DVD to see Argo which is supposedly fantastic.
Top 5:
1. The Cabin in the Woods - fun and the twist was just awesome.
2. Chronicle - by far the best superhero movie of the year and probably the most realistic one ever made in terms of what would really happen if a few teens got superpowers.
3. The Avengers - perfect big budget superhero movie
4. The Dark Knight Rises - had a few plotholes big enough to drive a batmobile through but was a good ending to the trilogy. JGL as Batman in Justice League!!!!!!!
5. Prometheus - a few too many instances of PIS but overall a good prequel to the Alien movies
Bottom 5:
5. Battleship - It looked pretty at least.
4. Breaking Dawn II - I took my 13 year old daughter to see it. It also looked pretty which is about the only thing positive I can say about it.
3. This Means War - watched it on a plane for lack of anything better to do. Utterly stupid.
2. Skyfall - I'm not sure I've ever had a movie insult my intelligence this much. I completely don't understand why people like this movie because its plot was ridiculous and Bond failed in his mission at the end yet got rewarded as if he'd succeeded. It makes no sense. Visually it was spectacular but the plot was sheer ridiculousness.
1. The Amazing Spiderman - utterly inferior in almost every single way to the original trilogy with the sole exception of Dennis Leary's role. It was like they hired the people that made the Fantastic Four movies to make this one but gave them orders to take out all the good types of things they'd put into the FF movies I'm very thankful I only wasted $1.29 on a redbox rental for this dreck.
